The pressure on dairy farms at a global level has never been higher: rising costs for energy and fertilizer, coupled with extreme weather conditions and resource scarcity. Added to this are new country-specific requirements and obligations to reduce agriculture’s ammonia and methane emissions and improve the farm’s carbon footprint.
N2 Applied has developed a breakthrough manure processing technology that enables livestock farmers not only to produce nitrogen fertiliser locally on their farm, but also to significantly reduce ammonia and methane emissions in one integrated solution. This provides an effective solution to deal with the current nitrogen and climate challenges, making full use of the manure, only using electricity and air as input. The N2 Unit is housed in 20ft containers for ease of transportation and integration into existing on-farm infrastructure.
